I am thrilled to announce that a gift of one heifer has been purchased through the generosity of GrayMatter Minute’s social media community. Thank you all so very much for supporting our holiday heifer campaign for Heifer International.We raised $415 toward our $500 goal. I feel VERY confident that we would have actually hit the $500 markthis past Friday had it not been for a “user error” committed by yourstruly when setting up the “end time” on my ChipIn fundraising widget. (I accidentally set it to end at 12 noon instead of 12 midnight. We dig it because the philosophy is aligned with our other favoritecharity, Habitat for Humanity...which provides "a hand up not a handout."

Heifer programs foster self-reliance through livestock and training until entire communities are transformed.

We think that's cool.

This year we're putting our money where our social mouth is.

Our plan is to get 100 people to donate $5 each to reach our $500 goal to pay for the gift of one awesome heifer.

We can do this. And, it goes without saying, we'll be udderly grateful for your help.
